The transparent disc revolves slowly on top of the column, while the scrying needles score tracks into the disc's surface creating 24 evolving, individual sound tracks. These sound tracks are played through horn speakers mounted on the column of the autoscryer. The audience trigger the speakers by activating pressure pads on the floor surrounding the autoscryer.
